Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) C. & L. C. Ives, Bristol, Conn., 8 day, time and strike weight brass movement triple decker shelf clock with carved splat and center columns. c1835 (2) Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood movement short fully carved half-column and splat shelf clock. c1832
CONDITION:
(1) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has a chip on the base, some damage at the bottom hinge on the top door. Original painted dial is in nice condition. Hour hand is either replaced or its tip is. Both tablets are replaced, but nicely done. Partial label inside. (2) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has some veneer damage on the door and damage to the left carved paw foot. Bottom tablet has been nicely restored in place. Old clear glass in the door is replaced. Original painted dial is in nice condition for its age. Original hands. Lock is missing.
